About Me

My name is Aiden LaCroix, and I’m a wildlife and landscape photographer from New Hampshire. I’ve always been drawn to wild places, whether that means photographing brown bears along the coast of Alaska, searching for wildlife in Yellowstone, or spending an early morning with loons on a quiet New Hampshire lake.

Some of my earliest memories are of traveling with my family, looking for wildlife, and being fascinated by the places and animals we encountered. That curiosity never really went away. As I got older, I picked up a camera and found a way to capture those experiences and share them with other people.

Today, wildlife photography has become a huge part of my life. I love the unpredictability of it. I can spend hours in the field without knowing what I’ll find, waiting for the right light or hoping an animal gives me a brief glimpse into its world. Those quiet, unexpected moments are usually the ones that mean the most to me.

I try to photograph wildlife as naturally as possible. Patience and respect are a big part of my approach, and I want the animals and landscapes in my images to feel exactly as they did when I experienced them.

I studied Strategic Communication at the University of Utah, and after graduating, I began building Aiden’s Camera Roll as a way to bring together my love for photography, travel, wildlife, and storytelling. What started with simply sharing the photos I loved has grown into something much bigger, and I’m excited to see where it takes me.

Through my photography, prints, and stories from the field, I hope to share some of these experiences with you and bring a small piece of the wild into your everyday life.
